May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month

May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month. It’s a time dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues and eradicating the stigma associated with mental illness. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) celebrates this month with various activities and campaigns, such as the “Take the Moment” campaign, which encourages people to foster open dialogues, cultivate empathy, and prioritize mental health care without guilt or shame. It’s an opportunity for individuals and organizations to share experiences, educate the public, and advocate for policies that support people with mental health conditions and their families. Throughout May, we invite you to check out our social media posts #MentalHealthMatters.
